Gloria was born in St. Anthony, Idaho, and at an early age learned to work in the potato fields in Idaho and on a ranch in Montana. After graduating from Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho, she continued her studies and graduated with a B.A. in Education from Idaho State University. She went on to teach English and French to junior high students at Hawthorne Middle and Alameda Middle Schools.
In 1976, Gloria began her very enjoyable real estate career. She continued her path of learning and obtained her Associate Broker’s license and attended many classes, conferences, and conventions. During that time, she earned the following designations: Accredited Buyer Representation, Certified Residential Specialist, e-Pro, Green, Graduate Realtor Institute, Performance Management Network, and Senior Real Estate Specialist. Since 1994, Gloria has been associated with Gate City Real Estate and its Broker, Gordon Wilks.
Gloria has served for years on the Idaho State Civic Symphony Board, was elected the first female president of Pocatello Rotary Club and is a frequent contributor to scholarships through the ISU Foundation, Pocatello Zoo, and various animal organizations. Gloria enjoys exercise, reading, traveling, drawing, and is never happier than spending time with her husband, Richard, and their family of dogs and cats.
